We have been in Telehouse since 1996, and we are one of the 4 oldest tenants. Telehouse was established in 1987 by a venture of international banks, telecoms and financial security firms. Situated in the heart of Wall Street to serve its customers, providing a secure and always on environment for mission critical systems.

Telehouse is world-class data center and was an example to many new data centers around the world.

The Telehouse Data Center is equipped with 5 UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply ) and 3 diesel-powered generators with 4,000 KVA capacity. All email hosting servers are fed with conditioned power that in case of utility power failure, the UPS power instantaneously will switch over to feed the system with power. In case of extended power outage, the diesel-powered generators run to provide the power. The generators and the battery are tested every 3 months to ensure functionality in the event of utility outage.

These systems proved themselves during 9/11 when we were running on generators for over 2 weeks and we never had the system down or failed Internet connection despite our proximity — (5 blocks) from the center of the disaster.

The Telehouse Data Center is equipped with HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) with N+1 Redundant Systems to handle system failure. An advanced pre-action sprinklers fire suppression systems is installed to prevent fire from spreading.

Telehouse Security is 24/7/365. There is CCTV Video Surveillance with two sets of guards in the front of the building and in the entry to the facility. Photo ID and pre-authorization is required for entry.
